Dr. Vidyadhar Kumbhar

MD Ayurveda

Sunad means, su:‘Beautiful' naad:'Sound’. Not many people know that Sea shell produces the sound that has antibacterial properties. That is the real reason behind the holy tradition of blowing it near the altar of our gods. The name of our clinic is spired by this.

Dr. Vidyadhar hails from a small village called Audumbar, and his parents were determined that he would become a doctor. They took great pains to teach him and make sure he was ready for medical school. He completed his BAMS from Rajiv Gandhi University in Bangalore, and Masters from Bharti Vidyapeeth in Pune. Then did his clinical research and got an opportunity to work at Hinduja Hospital, Research department in Mumbai.

For nearly two decades, Dr. Kumbhar has been offering comprehensive Ayurvedic treatments and has successfully addressed challenging cases, including cancer and a wide range of chronic and critical diseases. Dr. Kumbhar is adept at pulse reading (“Naadi Parikshan”) for diagnosis and disease prognosis, which brings him closer to his patients than any other type of medical system could do.

His quest for research and community work drew him to scientific and research-oriented efforts, which included an important experience of being Head of Clinical Research and Ayurvedic department at Lokmanya Hospital, Chinchwad. In addition to this, he undertook and led the mission of ‘Eradication of Malnutrition’ for children at Khatgaon village (Ahamdnagar district) to tackle malnutrition through Ayurvedic medicines and diet.
